IE7 No Longer Be Supported

With <1% usage worldwide, MCGWD will officially no longer support Internet Explorer 7. Sites will still render with IE7, but they may not display properly (look pretty) or function exactly like modern browsers do. Note, if your project does require IE7 support for some reason, please let us know up-front. We can still add support for older browsers into new projects, but you will incur extra expenses to do so.


IE6 Will No Longer Be Supported

Last week Google announced that they will no longer be supporting Internet Explorer 6.

In order to continue to improve our products and deliver more sophisticated features and performance, we are harnessing some of the latest improvements in web browser technology. This includes faster JavaScript processing and new standards like HTML5. As a result, over the course of 2010, we will be phasing out support for Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 ​as well as other older browsers that are not supported by their own manufacturers.

It has been a long time…

Astronomical Clock

It has been a very long time (almost 17 months) since we posted something in this blog. 2009 was a very busy year — work wise — for us, and we neglected not only this blog, but the entire site. After a few potential clients asked us for examples of our work, and we noticed we hadn’t updated the portfolio in 14+ months. So, for the last few weeks we redesigned the website, updated the portfolio and finally designed the blog section to match the rest of the site.
